AI for law firms

New client enquiries, answered professionally

People with a legal problem often contact several firms and choose the first one that responds. An AI receptionist answers every call and web enquiry, runs your intake questions, books a consultation and passes everything to your team, without ever giving legal advice.

Building digital solutions for businesses since 2016.

  • EnquiriesAnswered 24/7
  • IntakeStructured for your team
  • ConfidentialOnly what's needed, agreed in writing

01 — The challenge

The first firm to respond often gets the client

Lawyers are in court, in meetings or with clients, and the front office can't take every call. Evening and weekend enquiries wait until the next working day, and by then the caller may have found another firm.

The assistant organises. Legal advice stays with your lawyers.

An AI receptionist answers in your firm's name, asks your intake questions for each area of law, records the names your team needs for a conflict check and books a consultation in the right lawyer's calendar. Existing clients are put through or get a callback.

02 — What it handles

A front office that never closes

  • Calls & web enquiries

Phone, website chat, contact form and WhatsApp, handled in your firm's name.

  • Structured intake

Area of law, the other party, key dates and documents, collected with your own questions.

  • Conflict-check details

Names of the parties passed to your team for the conflict check before a meeting is confirmed.

  • Consultations booked

In the right lawyer's calendar, with confirmation and reminder.

  • Existing clients

Recognised and put through, or their message passed to their lawyer.

  • Deadlines flagged

When a caller mentions a date or deadline, the request is marked urgent for your team.

03 — Confidentiality

Built around professional secrecy

Law firms carry special duties of confidentiality. We design the assistant around them and agree data handling with you in writing before anything goes live.

  • No legal advice and no assessment of the case
  • Only the information your intake really needs
  • Confidentiality and data processing agreed in writing
  • Access only for the people in your firm who need it

05 — AI you can trust

Helpful for customers, safe for your business

An AI agent speaks on behalf of your business. That's why we build every one with clear limits.

  • A person takes over whenever the agent is unsure or the customer asks for one
  • Connected to your own tools: calendar, CRM, shop, booking or order system
  • Answers come from your approved information, not from guesses
  • Open about being a virtual assistant, in your customer's language
  • Your data handled under clear agreements, with access only where it's needed
  • Reviewed and improved after launch, based on real conversations

06 — FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which firms is this for?

Law firms of every size, from solo practitioners to larger firms, and other professional offices that take on new clients by phone, such as notaries and tax advisers.

Can I try an AI agent before I decide?

Yes. Send us a WhatsApp message on +1 647 558 0474: our own AI assistant answers first and a team member takes over when needed. Ask it anything about our services, then tell us what your customers usually ask and we show you how an agent for your business would handle it.

Does this fit our professional rules?

Responsibility always stays with the firm, so your firm decides what fits your local rules. In the US, the American Bar Association's Formal Opinion 512 (July 2024) sets out lawyers' duties when using AI tools, including confidentiality. We keep the assistant to intake and scheduling, without legal advice, and put confidentiality in a written agreement.

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. The assistant introduces itself as your business's virtual assistant. In the EU this is also a legal requirement: under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, people must be told they are interacting with an AI system unless that is obvious. This has applied since 2 August 2026.

What if the AI gives a wrong answer?

We limit the AI to your approved information and tasks, test it with real questions before launch and review its work afterwards. When it isn't sure, it says so or passes the question to your team.

What does an AI phone assistant cost?

It depends on call volume, integrations and languages. Usually there is a one-off setup cost and a monthly cost for the phone line and AI usage. Our AI receptionist cost guide shows published market prices, and you can request a free, personal quote at any time.
